Robert Freidman

Co-Founder and CEO

Freidman is an entrepreneur with over ten years of experience in launching ventures that turn into profitable business and investment opportunities. His financial background combined with his ability to evaluate risks and return on investments first led to his founding of the New York Branch of Robbins & Lloyd Mortgage (“R&L”), a residential and commercial mortgage business from 2003 to 2008. At R&L, Friedman was responsible for hiring and overseeing a 50-person staff comprised of mortgage originators, underwriters, and processors as well as driving the sales efforts. During his tenure at R&L, the New York branch originated a $300 million annual mortgage pipeline. Recognizing the shift in the economic environment and the importance of business diversification, in 2007 Friedman leveraged his expertise and founded Our MCA Funding Company Merchant Solutions. Specializing in small business funding, Our MCA Funding Company has grown rapidly and is now funding over $3 million per month and growing rapidly. Friedman has a B.A from Hofstra University in Banking and Finance, and also has prior experience at Morgan Stanley.

Joe Bricks

Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer

Bricks started his career in finance, after graduating from the University at Maryland in 2000. He worked for Wells Fargo as an account executive and mortgage consultant. Maltz continued to gain experience working in the mortgage industry as a consultant for Sterling National Bank. He then opened a satellite office of Robbins & Lloyd Mortgage in New York City. At Robbins & Lloyd, Maltz handled all operations and sales in the office and managed the twenty sales representatives reporting to him.

Bricks and his partner decided to venture into a new area of finance, cash advances for small to mid sized companies, and opened Our MCA Funding Company Merchant Solutions. As Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer, Maltz oversees a staff of twenty five people and all operations of the company. Maltz also acts as a liaison between his sales representatives and the lenders who fund their clients

Rupert Bell

Chief Marketing Officer

Bell joined the Our MCA Funding Company team in 2010 with over 11 years of experience in the lending industry. Before joining Our MCA Funding Company, Behin founded Mortgage Strategies LLC, a company that was positioned to buy non performing residential notes from banks and hedge funds, and work out the individual notes with the troubled borrowers.

Prior to Mortgage Strategies Bell was a prominent residential mortgage originator where he was the Director of New Development Lending and the manager of HOME (Home Owners Mortgage) in Manhattan. HOME is a subsidiary of NJ Lenders Corporation, the largest privately held mortgage bank in New Jersey. Since 2002 as one of New York City’s top mortgage originators, Behin has structured, funded and sold over $250 million in residential mortgage whole loans.

Bell received a BBA in finance at The George Washington University in 1998 and a Masters Degree in real estate development from New York University in 2003.
